I am a psychotherapist offering counselling.
Throughout life we can be faced with unexplained and unexpected difficulties, often becoming too difficult to encounter alone. I offer a place where we can explore together these difficulties, within a safe and supportive environment.
I believe we are all complex and multi-faceted beings with different needs and concerns at different points in life's journey. My job is to listen and create a safe environment in which you can explore your feelings and thoughts freely. The aim is to explore what brings you to therapy and to work together in enabling you to have a better understanding of yourself and the relationships you have both personally and work related.
Areas of work:
Abuse, Anger management, Anxiety, Bereavement, Cultural issues, Depression, Discrimination, Family issues, Health related issues, Identity issues, Life coaching, Loss, Personal development, Relationship problems, Self-esteem, Self-harm, Stress, Spirituality, Trauma, Work-related stress.
I offer both time limited therapy, 6-24 sessions, and open-ended therapy.
I also offer Skype and outdoor sessions.
I am mindful that the process of finding a counsellor may be difficult and therefore I offer an initial 50-minute consultation session. This will give us an opportunity to meet and explore your concerns and needs. It is important for both of us to feel comfortable and to decide whether you wish to take up subsequent sessions.
Initial 50-minute consultation fee: £60
On-going 50-minute counselling session: £65
